The south of heaven band was formed in 1996 . The name came from a civil war journel,that belonged to Shawns great great great great grandfather. The band has made its way through a number of different players. sohb has shared the stage with lynyrd skynyrd, molly hatchet, mike murphy,david allan coe, chris cagel, and many other,
I would like to thank all the people that has supported myself and the band and has accepted us for who we are . The songwriters (my friends) who i decided to do songs from. These guys are local folks who has inspired me to keep on goin, JAMES MICHAEL MURPHY,BEN MOORE,LOUIE MCNEAL, and PAT HANNEY, All my brothers and sisters in the motorcycle clubs around the places we travel. Theclub owners in ohio ky wv ga fl tn.and sc. The people who travel to and from the shows and sit there in support even when thing aint goin right.
